Aquabest - The Water of Tomorrow

People today live very hectic lifestyle having to juggle their careers, social lives, among others. Between rushing to and from meetings or parties, people tend to neglect their health. As a result, most people turn to various diets and therapy to help improve their health. What most people don’t get is that drinking lots of water can just be as effective as fancy therapies and diets in keeping you in shape.

Drinking water helps cleanse and revitalize the body sweeping away toxins and impurities in the body. Water also helps keep our energy and alertness levels up all day. Overall, drinking lots of water can lead to greater personal wellness and well-being. However, not all water is the same some are better than others.

Aquabest Granderized water in particular is radically different from other types of drinking water being not only clean but also healthy. Utilizing four unique technologies Grander, Tanwing, Nanogen, and Reverse Osmosis; Aquabest alters the very nature of water to make it better.

Tanwing Technology and Reverse Osmosis are filtration technologies that help eliminate practically all contaminants in the water making them safe and clean. Tanwing works by utilizing two wavelengths of ultraviolet radiation to help eliminate all biological contaminants. At the same time, reverse osmosis filters water at the nanometer level far smaller than a strand of hair to ensure that all impurities are filtered out.

The Nanogen and Grander Technologies work at the molecular level to infuse health giving properties to the water by affecting the molecular structure of the water. Nanogen is a Korean technology that utilizes nanotechnology to neutralize pure water’s inherent acidity. Acidic water is supposed to be a contributing factor to some diseases. Grander Technology from Austria alters the molecular structure of water to improve body absorption.

Normal water molecules are large and irregularly shaped. This causes uneven rates of absorption into the body making it inefficient and disorganized. With Grander Technology the water molecules are compressed and given a uniform shape. This facilitates faster and more efficient absorption into the body.

Overall, Aquabest Granderized Water improves on the inherent cleansing and rejuvenating qualities of water.  Each drop reaches deeper into the core of every cell in our bodies allowing them to perform their functions better.

Drinking Aquabest Granderized Water will rejuvenate the body at its very core helping people look and feel better.

Teaching Children to Become Entrepreneurs

Last Saturday, May 31, 2014, over 100 children between the ages of 4-17 took a day off from “play,” to take part in a revenue generating initiative – they launched their very first businesses at The Kiddo-preneur Summer Bazaar 2014 at the Midtown Atrium of Robinsons Place Manila.

The Kiddo-preneur Bazaar, which started in 2011, takes place bi-annually during the summer and during the Christmas break. It is an event wherein children can become entrepreneurs for a day.

Together with their other business partners (friends and siblings) and some assistance from their parents, the kids set out to create a product to sell. Once they have this in mind, they think of a business name, plan their marketing strategy, and price their products. They then design eye-catching booths to attract customers, and during the actual event, they do their best to win trophies for: the highest sales, the best service, the best-decorated booth, and the best concept. It is a highly creative process as it encourages kids to think out of the box to try to find a product that people will need and want.

During the event itself, the children manage their own cash boxes, dispense change, and they also chat up their customers to further promote their products.  Through this experience, the children develop confidence, math and entrepreneurial skills, and they also learn the value of a hard day’s work.

ANC Business Anchor, Maiki Oreta started Kiddo-preneur in order to encourage children to become entrepreneurs. She says, “When you expose your children to money and business early on, you spark in them, an entrepreneurial spirit. This spirit is tough in the face of adversity, thrives on healthy competition, and is eager to learn about the wonderful world of business and all the opportunities it presents.”

The next Kiddo-preneur Bazaar will take place this year, on November 23rd at the new Glorietta Activity Center across the Raffles Hotel in Makati.

If you would like to sign your kids up for this event, you can contact Kiddo-preneur via kiddopreneur@gmail.com or 0917-585-1081.

Kiddo-preneur Bazaar 2014

Kiddo-preneur bazaar is a yearly event wherein children between the ages of 4-17 will have the opportunity to launch their very own business.

The first bazaar was held at The Rockwell Club in Makati in December of 2011. Every year since then, Kiddo-preneur has held events aimed at increasing the level of financial literacy in the country and encouraging children to become entrepreneurs. Kiddo-preneur believes that the values of entrepreneurship and hard work should be instilled in children early on so that more and more of them will grow up wanting to become entrepreneurs in the future.

So please come and support our young entrepreneurs and their big ideas! The bazaar will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014, 10am-6pm at The Atrium of Robinsons Place Manila.

Japinoy food trip @ Manila Maki

Manila Maki is a Filipino-inspired Japanese restaurant that offers a variety of Japanese cuisine with a Pinoy twist. A couple of weeks ago, this place was featured in Bandila (a popular news program). Me and my friend Jhoanne (we're both food enthusiasts :)) got curious, so we decided to try it. It's located along H.V. Dela Costa in Makati, a few blocks away from our office building.

The place is kinda small but its very comfy.  I love the interior especially the wallpaper, a collection of old Japanese newspapers accented with wooden planks.

Signature Dishes

Aligue Yakisoba - traditional Japanese stir-fried noodles funked by the tasty presence of crab fat.

Seared Tuna Kinilaw - yellow fin tuna peppered with black and white sesame seeds, seared slightly and served with spicy vinegar.

Pinoydon Tofu - fried tofu smothered in a tasty Pinoy teriyaki sauce.
