After the following increase in transport fares and oil products, we are yet to prepare for another increase - water rate.
According to news, the rate increase will take effect this month. And because of that unavoidable increase, we should be conscious of our water usage.
Here are some tips on how to conserve water:
•Dont let the water run while washing dishes or when doing your laundry.
•Check faucets and toilets for leaks.
•Collect the water you used from washing dishes and clothes, then reuse it to water the plants or to clean the driveway.
•When taking a bath, use a pale and water dipper instead of the shower. Or just take shorter showers.
•Teach your kids to use water wisely and to turn off the faucet after using.
•When washing dishes by hand, use a basin to rinse the dishes.
•Dont let the water run when washing your hands or brushing your teeth.
•Water your lawn only when needed.
